Lynn E. McFadden, Ph.D.
Health Scientist
Dr. Lynn McFadden is a toxicologist and chemical engineer with six years of multi-disciplinary research experience investigating inhalation exposures and associated health effects. Dr. McFadden’s research experience has encompassed a broad range of work, including computational modeling of the failure modes of prismatic lithium-ion batteries, developing a novel portable in vitro exposure cassette (PIVEC), and serving as Technical Director of an in vitro toxicology contract research laboratory. Throughout this work, she understands the unique complexity of aerosols and inhalation exposure thereof and has garnered her skillset to address these concerns. Her research interests are focused on bridging the gap between real world exposures and laboratory experiments through computational modeling methods and whole aerosol exposures to predict health effects from complex aerosols. Dr. McFadden has published over 40 abstracts and peer-reviewed papers on various inhalation toxicology and human health related issues.
“As a health scientist, it is critical to utilize an interdisciplinary perspective to comprehensively problem solve. I am delighted to join a team of collaborative, multifaceted, dedicated scientists to investigate human health and safety.”
